Fire Warden Training

Service Description

This Fire Warden course covers your duties under fire legislation, as well as looking at fire prevention measures, the correct use of fire extinguishers and how to organise a fire evacuation in a school. The course is broken down into 5 easy to follow sections: 1. The background of fire and how it spreads, 2. Preventing fire and the need for emergency plans 3. School specific evacuation procedures 4. The extinguishers and classes of fire 5. The relevant legislation. The fire warden training in schools programme has been written for designated employees within schools, colleges and other educational institutes. The online training platform can be accessed by all staff in a live training session with interactive Q&A's plus quizzes for staff to test their knowledge. All schools will be able to retain a copy of the training session which will be recorded and can be viewed by others in the school - used as part of your induction for new starters for example.
